HOW DO YOU FEEL?

How Do You Feel? is an attempt to become more emotionally articulate and/or get a damn grip. It’s difficult to reason with metaphysical concepts like “cynicism” or “peace” without being able to identify them visually; in giving physical form to abstracted concepts, the abstractions become approachable. Once you recognize an emotion—its double jointed fingers and the pulse behind its ears—you can begin to manage it, honor it, move in with it.

This is an ongoing project. I’m trying to become a world-champion feeler.
